Research and implementation of image enhancement algorithm based on local mean and standard deviation

Aiming at a algorithm it uses Local Mean (LM) and Local Standard Deviation (LSD), this paper designs a new Intelligence algorithm it also uses Local Mean (LM) and Local Standard Deviation (LSD). In a limited local means and standard method, the original local enhancement algorithm was improved, it enhances the area where has low LM and LSD and preserves the other area. Experimental results show that the improved algorithm can achieve the effect of the original algorithm, and for image to further process provide the expected results.
