Abstract :
The article applied ward cluster analysis method in features of coalmine safety accident. Based on data to frequency and casualty of coalmine accident in 2004-2010 years, Coalmine disaster accident is divided to six regions: southwest china, south of the Yangtze River, northeast, north china, ningxia-shaanxi-Inner Mongolia and northwest china. Gas accidents and roof accidents are main type of coalmine accident, where is southwest and south of the Yangtze River of China. Results show that use cluster analysis to coalmine disaster region division is feasible and some important guiding significance.
