Abstract
There are still no reference design flow for mixed-signal circuits. The aim of this paper is to present distinct analog and digital design flows in the context of a mixed-signal environment. A top-level mixed mode design flow is presented showing different levels of interaction between the analog and digital domains. Examples of CAD tools are also indicated. Finally a case study of a USB 2.0 physical layer is given that shows the efficiency of such flows.
