Abstract :
To identify energy consumption level of comprehensive transportation scientifically and reliably, the commercial passenger vehicles are selected as a research object. Through comparative analysis of available research results, using transport organization theory to develop energy consumption calculating methods with regard to data attainability and result reliability, and making good use of softwares such as SPSS to carry on the demarcation to the related parameter, the result implies that in 2007 the total petroleum consumption of commercial passenger vehicles in China is 12,744,200 tons, accounting for 3.48% of the total national petroleum consumption and 10.36% of the total petroleum consumption of transportation, respectively.
