Abstract :
In the latter years, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies cost decrease have increased the amount of information generated but also the complexity of managing this huge volume of data. Within this context, services and data integration are key when building new biological software or applying an existing one to a new environment. This paper proposes a service oriented framework factoring all the core services required to support NGS applications and provides an application example to multiple alignments using JABAWS to validate the proposed framework.
