Abstract :
The blog, a new web-based tool, has developed very fast in recent years. Because it can be used as a new assistant means of teaching, it attracts more and more attention in Chinese educational field and is gradually used in college English teaching. This paper explains the necessity and feasibility of using blogs in college English teaching, introduces how to build blog platforms, analyses the functions of blogs in teaching and expounds how to use blogs in college English teaching.
