Abstract
This work deals with a method of analysis to estimate the core losses increase under nonsinusoidal induction. The estimation can be done by integrating the power of two most important dissipative phenomena during the magnetization process. The dissipated power for moving domain walls and the dissipated power for rotating the magnetic moments. Experimentally, the value of these powers, can be obtained under triangular and two rate waveform induction tests. This methodology is in perfect accordance with the models of ferromagnetism. Initial predictions in linear magnetization compared to experimental results show a good precision, apart from the waveform induction
