Abstract :
For creating an optimal base for future digital/high-definition TV systems, a new production standard based on a four-sensor camera is introduced. This standard provides high spatial correlation by progressively scanning the scene with high resolution and high temporal correlation, by deviating motion information from an additional CCD sensor with a temporal sampling rate of 100 Hz. The signal is directly applicable to existing studios and to proposed intraframe and interframe digital codecs
