  • Abstract
    At present, most vehicle monitoring systems are based on the client/server structure. According to their disadvantages, an intelligent public transport monitoring system based on WebGIS is constructed. System working principle, design method and main functions are introduced in detail. A fast and practical road match algorithm, is put forward. The system has been used in two domestic cities and has obtained great social and economic benefits. It has better promoting effect on improving the service level of urban public transportation and other transportation trades.
