Abstract
A chaotic attractor that arises from an autonomous three-cell cellular neural network (CNN) is reported. It is shown that the attractor has a structure very similar to the double scroll attractor. Through some equivalent transformations, this circuit in three major subspaces of its state space is shown to belong to Chua´s circuit family, although originating from a completely different field
