Abstract :
Knowledge transmission in workshop is relied on the demonstrations of operating machines by senior technicians. It is time consuming and inefficiency, a trainer can teach few trainees simultaneously meanwhile the performance cannot be ensured and is just depended on the trainee´s talent, and also some techniques may be lost. RFID-Aided Training System is used for knowledge transmission, especially available in tacit to explicit knowledge for reducing manpower and time. Compare with the other E-learning systems, the wireless communication function of RFID can accrue automation to provide inspection and data receiving for the knowledge base to keep on growing. In this study, a professional training system for manufacturing is developed, and RFID can be applied in different approaches to enhance the system. Besides the simple login function, the learning process monitoring, materials management, alerting safety signal and the tool searching function with LANDMARC algorithm can also be RFID aided.
