Abstract
Linearized circuits using GaAs MESFETs operating in class-A push-pull mode have been previously proposed for transconductor and self-conductor realization in which the even-order MESFET nonlinearity is effectively eliminated. The introduction of AC-coupling into these conductance circuits is proposed, and it shown that this allows linear class-AB operation with high efficiency and a simple method of tuning the conductance values. The design and simulation of a 0.5-5.0-GHz GaAs MMIC isolator illustrate the ideas presented
