Abstract :
The asymmetrical multilevel inverters allow to obtain a high resolution together with a good efficiency thanks to the switch hybridization. Nevertheless, the supplies of the cells must be insulated one from each other, which increases the converter complexity and reduces its efficiency. This paper proposes to use a multisource DC-DC converter to supply the converter cells. It describes its structure and control. A modulation method that avoid current displacement during transient is proposed, resulting in reduced switching losses
