Abstract :
An algorithm to simulate DC-to-AC power converters (inverters) is presented. This algorithm models the switches as a controller that controls the topology of the load circuit. The controller characteristic is derived from the switching criteria of the inverter circuit. Depending on which switches are “on” or “off”, the controller simply provides the appropriate input source to the load circuit. This algorithm is applied to simulate DC-to-AC inverters. The simulation results based on the implementation of this algorithm are presented
