Abstract
Aerospace equipment has stresses found in ground based equipment, plus many more. Aerospace environments either unique or more severe than terrestrial are corona, cosmic ray and radiation effects, and space plasma. Magneto hydrodynamic (MHD) effects start in space and often overlooked in a terrestrial environment
