  • Abstract
The authors describe the synthesis of immittance functions using a four-terminal floating nullor (FTFN) and its application to current-mode and voltage-mode filters. It is shown that an FTFN is a more flexible building block than an operational amplifier (OA) or a current conveyor (CCII). Since an FTFN has both Z- and W-terminals, unlike an OA or a CCII, by suitably choosing their terminals, one can obtain stable circuits
