Title :
The influence of the choice of ground node on the performance of active filters

Abstract :
It is shown that, although the active nullor and CCII have no a priori ground node, the choice of ground for any practical filter incorporating these elements has an impact on the sensitivity of the realized poles to the device parasitics. A network derived from the high-pass Sallen and Key filter is studied for all choices of ground node, with measured and theoretical results given for an active nullor/CCII having nonzero input/output admittances, gain errors, and finite bandwidths
