Abstract
A method is described for generating new filters from known second order active filters using any active device. The procedure is illustrated through the example of the well-known unity gain Sallen and Key highpass filter, with a total of 41 second order lowpass, highpass, or bandpass functions generated. These can be in the form of voltage, current, transfer impedance, or transfer admittances
