  • Abstract
The first stage for the transition towards a total digitalization in a burns unit is set out. Once the problems derived from the current procedures followed in a reference hospital have been established, a methodology based on the collaboration between a group of experts in burns and a technical group is developed. Consequently, technical solutions derived from the application of information and communication technologies are proposed. The result is a system that allows a smooth transition of the technology, compatible with legal procedures and open to the incorporation of possible improvements
