Presented in this paper are the results of design of fiber-optical gauge, using sectioned bimagnetostrictive coating applied on fiber. Its core consists of magnetic and rheological liquid on the basis of yttrium iron garnet powder Y3Fe5O12 and polyethylene-siloxane oil
