Title :
Cross-correlation techniques applied to optical sensor for respiratory flow measurements
Author :
Werneck, Marcelo Martins
Abstract :
This paper describes a flow meter that uses a real time cross correlation technique in a system that using two optical fiber crossing a flow channel. A tag signal is produced in the flow that crossed a transverse laser beam by a thermal variation inside the tube. The results are promising and can be extended to human respiratory flow measurements
