Abstract :
This paper presents a bistatic focusing solution for the general case, when transmitter and receiver trajectories move along non parallel trajectories with different velocities. Processing in the general case turns out to be additionally truly azimuth time variant. This problem is solved by implementing a novel 2D inverse scaled FFT algorithm. In the second part of the paper the focused bistatic SAR image bistatic processing quality will be evaluated by measuring the geometric registration, amplitude and resolution, ISLR and PSLR of simulated point targets.
