  • Abstract
    In this paper we propose a mechanism to increase the reach of access networks by using low-cost and evolutionary light-trail metro-technology. We show how light-trails are adapted to access networks including novel node architecture, protocol and configuration. We also discuss formulation of network design using light-trails.
