Abstract :
A 2-D digital low-pass filter structure is proposed which does not contain delay-free loops. The multipliers in the feedback circuits can be adjusted, resulting in variable magnitude characteristics. The limits of these multipliers are determined from stability considerations. Depending on the values of the multipliers chosen, circular or elliptic contours are obtained
