Abstract
An adaptive filtering approach to distributed space-borne SAR imaging is proposed in this paper. The signal model and principle of adaptive filtering imaging are presented at first. Then two categories of adaptive filters are evaluated. The performance analysis and comparison of those two filters indicates that the computation load is lower than with a Wiener filter and imaging quality is better than with a matched filter. Finally the numerical simulation results are presented to illustrate the results.
