Abstract
Subscriber line interface circuits´ (SLICs) line interface functions combine both voltage- and current-mode signal processing. The second-generation current-conveyor is a circuit building block which has both these signal processing capabilities. The authors present circuit topologies using current conveyors which require fewer components than the voltage-mode realization. Furthermore, they present an enhanced current-conveyor model which more accurately models the common-mode behavior of the current-conveyor circuits. They also present a test circuit realized with discrete components
