Abstract :
In this paper, we make profound researches on DoS (denial of service) attacks and defenses in network security using simulation techniques. Through the qualitative and quantitative analyses on key parameters of network transmission, we simulate relational measures of DoS attacks and defenses in the Internet. Moreover, we proposed an improved scheme to simulate TVA, a typical comprehensive capabilities scheme, and demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibilities of the new proposals by simulation experiments.
