Abstract :
We propose fiber optic subcarrier transmission system using coherence multiplexing techniques with bus configuration for mobile communication. The proposed system can carry N optical channels, each supporting M subcarrier channels, thus providing NM channels. Therefore it is possible to reduce the number of intermodulation distortion (IMD) and the effects of the interference noise. Thus, the performance of the proposed system is superior to that of subcarrier multiplexing system and coherence multiplexing system. In this paper, the received carrier-to-noise ratio (CNR) characteristics of the proposed system with optical amplifier are analyzed and the fundamental performance is shown
