Abstract :
Virtual laboratory (VL) is one principal application of virtual instrument. Compared with traditional laboratory, It has many advantages that It´s system updating has nothing to do with system software, that a laboratory system can be shared by several users at same time, that users can do experiment in remote place with remote virtual instrument laboratory by Internet service. The paper models the coating technology process, presents a virtual experiment platform scheme and develops it with virtual instrument. The platform has a good result on simulating the coating technology process and shows the process visualized. The experiment result verifies the platform like real laboratory to bring about correct result if allowable tolerance in a certain extent exists, and the platform can be used not only for teaching, but also for analyzing and simulating optical film coating technology.
