Abstract :
The paper develops and analyzes the simulation model of an automated teller machine (ATM). This case study is carried out on an ATM installed in an Institute of National importance in the Southern part of India. Two simulation models have been developed to analyze the effectiveness in a modified ATM. This work proposes to provide information about the availability of a particular denomination of currency before the customers enter the system.
