  • Abstract
The spread of depolarisation and repolarisation was modelled based on a cellular automaton using an anisotropic detailed heart model. Transmembrane potentials, impressed current densities, Body Surface Potential Maps (BSPM) and electrocardiograms (ECG) were determined for a normal heart beat and for the cases of AV-block, right bundle-branch block and WPW-syndrome. First attempts to transform the detailed heart model to individual patients are reported
