The results of development of an effective search method of a global extremum for the decision of a problem of definition of the slow wave structure sizes such as a coupled cavity chain on the given electrodynamic characteristics or equivalent parameters are presented. Results of definition the slow wave structure sizes on given dispersion and interaction impedance are adduced
