Abstract
The possibility of integrating partial differential equations governing hydrodynamical phenomena has been discussed for the lossless case in previous publications, based on simulating the actual physical system by means of a discrete passive dynamical system. This earlier work is extended to include the effect of losses due to viscosity in the fluid. This way the formerly established advantages of very high robustness and massive parallelism become available for this practically very important case. The approach is thus very suitable as a basis for the construction of highly parallel computers for the solution of hydrodynamic problems solving viscous fluids
