  • Abstract
Active queue management (AQM), as an active packet dropping schemes which can preferable adapt to rapid variance of queue length, has been a research highlight in network congestion control field. But many algorithms existed now have defects in respond speed, stability and environment sensitivity. As to these problem mentioned by the above, Fuzzy Control can bring relative advantages into play, actualize the intellectualizing of control system. Based on the existed fuzzy control AQM algorithm---FEM, this paper explores ATQL-FEM, one kind of adaptive target queue length Fuzzy Control algorithm. Simulation test shows that this kind of adaptive system can efficiently raise the adaptation to bursting flow, furthermore, the guarantee of property proves that this algorithm can adapt to the network model nonlinearity perfectly.
