  • Abstract
    Large-scale 3D city building models has now become an indispensable part of digital globe information system. It is a big challenge how to make use of limited computer memory space and rendering ability to draw almost infinite city building models on the earth. In this paper, we focus discussion on how to improve the efficiency of management and rendering of largescale 3D city building models, which mainly includes two parts: organization and management of large-scale 3D city building models, scheduling and optimizing for large-scale 3D city building models.
