Abstract
Various operating modes of the series-parallel resonant converter operating over a wide range of switching frequencies have been identified by using computer simulation. The authors give an example of the converter design and the circuit model that was used for SPICE3 simulation. The simulation results obtained and the operating modes which were identified as a result of the simulation are introduced. The converter gain and component stresses are plotted with variations in the normalized load current. A general method of steady-state analysis, using a state-space approach, is presented
