Abstract :
The exploitation of chaotic spatio-temporal oscillations has useful applications in biology. It is shown that nonlinear dynamics of GaAs with Gunn effect has a certain similarity to the oscillatory behavior of some biological systems and structures, which have an inherent oscillatory character. We discuss the obtained new results, which prove that its utilization may be useful in modelling and investigations of biological oscillations and rhythms
