  • Abstract
Integrated transmission-line filters were previously proposed to attenuate conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) produced by high-frequency switching power converters. This paper investigates how a filter, fabricated using planar processing technologies, and power converters are modeled to accurately predict the EMI characteristics of the system. Experimental results are provided for the first time with a front-end single-phase power factor correction converter switching at 400 kHz. Simulated models are compared to the measured results where 20-50 dBmuB attenuation was realized between 100 kHz and 100 MHz
