  • Abstract
An algorithm based on an extended scattering matrix formulation is presented for time-domain simulation of lossy dispersive multiconductor transmission lines with arbitrary linear or nonlinear terminations. At each point in time, both sides of the transmission line structure are represented by an extended Thevenin equivalent. This general transmission line model was implemented in a SPICE-like simulation program, and the results are presented
