Abstract :
The dead angle and transfer characteristics of the feedback control circuit in a magnetic-amplifier-controlled DC-DC converter are considered for several different saturable cores and rectifier diodes. The effect of the saturable core characteristics on the transfer characteristics in the feedback control circuit are also examined. The optimum combination of core and diode and condition of the feedback control circuit necessary to obtain excellent control characteristics are clarified.
