Abstract :
The attributes of microwave dielectric ceramic have been studied from two aspects: working state and relative dielectric constant. Its four applications in microwave oven are elicited. Ceramics in resonant state can be used in microwave oven of fixed boundary condition; ceramics in detuned state are made into shimming panel; high permittivity ceramics are used to make flexible fast defroster and low permittivity ceramics are used in multiple outputs shimming device in microwave oven. Currently, all these applications have been applied for national invention patents, some of which have been produced into samples and got favorable test data.
