Abstract
As part of an on-going programme to develop a Fully Integrated Tracking System capable of multisensor data fusion, a multi-mode radar prototype has been developed which utilises near optimal probabilistic algorithms and demonstrates a high degree of functionality. A diverse set of detection types can be used to form tracks with no operator intervention and estimate the strength of target formations. Some of the processes involved in developing the algorithm set have been described and the present flexible simulation and demonstration system has been described in detail
