Abstract :
The pipe route arrangement in engine room is one of the most complex planning problems. All other activities depended on pipe routing layout result during the detailed design phase of a ship and its quality had a great impact on the whole ship design. The efforts of current research should be directed toward improving the efficiency of traditional AI algorithm. A method for automatic optimization design of pipeline in engine room is introduced to use in 3D digital simulation environment. At first, the basic and reformed path patterns were planned, and then the feasible layouts were determined by using the interfere-check technology in mature CAD system, at last the optimization solution could be selected by optimizing evaluation.
