Abstract :
OWL-S is an ontology language of semantic Web service which is recommended by W3C. Using OWL-S to describe semantic web service and implement automatic composition is a hot topic in today´s web service research domain. Planning is a task of finding action sequence to achieve some targets. Web service automatic composition can be solved through translated as planning problem. This paper firstly introduces the idea and framework of OWL-S service automatic composition based on planning, then analyses the template-based and atomic action-based plan generation techniques in detail, gives an example for illustration, finally makes conclusion and prospect.
