Abstract :
Self organizing map which is applied in localization algorithm of wireless sensor network can achieve high localization precise of sensor nodes. In this paper, a distributed location method DSOM using SOM is proposed. DSOM begins with selecting a random sensor to build local map and merging the local map into global one. Simulation results show that DSOM outperforms than the Central-SOM location algorithm on aspect of robustness and reliability.
