Abstract :
The author discusses his involvement in Hotpoint´s move to a concurrent engineering approach for product engineering. The author focuses on two main aspects, the role of IT on concurrent engineering and supplier relationships. The nature of concurrent engineering though means that they cannot be treated in isolation and many other factors are also discussed
