Concurrent engineering-why do it at all?

In striving to maintain their position as a world class supplier of guided weapon systems. British Aerospace Defence Dynamics Division (BAe Def DD) have recognised the need to rapidly implement concurrent engineering (CE) principles and practices. The author, is a member of the Company´s Change Team, which is tasked with introducing CE into BAe Def DD, describes why and how the implementation of CE is being addressed
