Abstract
In many fields of use of spectral correlation, a priori knowledge of cycle frequency can not be obtained every time. The cycle frequency can be estimated from a section of received data. But the length of data and the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) have a strong influence on the performance of the estimation. When there are multiple signals, the cross-terms make this problem more complicated. This paper presents a method of estimating cycle frequency by using array direction-finding and spatial filtering. We get excellent estimation results under different SNR, and can cope multiple signals
