Abstract
A two-dimensional plasmon waveguide in a form of rows of silver-shell nanocylinders in hexagonal lattice is presented. Transport of energy due to surface plasmon coupling is investigated with Finite element method for visible range wavelengths from 300 to 800 nm. Results show that the plasmon waveguide of silver nanoshell nanocylinders in hexagonal lattice possesses the localized field in a volume well below the diffraction limit and exhibits tunable surface plasmon resonances in a wider range of wavelength that are not observed for the solid-silver cases with the same sizes.
