Abstract
The problem of constrained synthesis of wide-band radar waveforms is discussed. The relationship between wide-band ambiguity function (WBAF) and wavelet transform (WT) is derived by an affine group theory. By using this relationship the method of constrained WT synthesis and the corresponding algorithm is presented. An application example of the synthesis of a wide-band radar transmitted signal is also given
